The functioning of the education channel in the culture of the information society is based on three social kumatoids (wave-like objects): education, mass culture and science.  This interaction is performed on the basis of exchange between the following elements:  the person (the learner, if we are talking about the kumatoid of education), information, the carrier of information, the transmitter (transformer) of information. The social relays connecting these elements act in the situations of choice containing the conditions of uncertainty.  Therefore, the activity to estimate the level of trustworthiness of information has invariant character. Thus, under modern conditions the principle of fundamentalization of education becomes particularly important.

The analysis of the foreign tradition of the education's system formation and of foreign educational theories in the end of the XIXth -in the beginning of the XXth centuries is held in the research. It is shown that educational rules are adequate to society's rules. Evolution of educational conceptions on a way towards globalization processes is considered; the content and the necessity of modernization's processes that lead towards innovational education development are revealed. The conclusion is made that the future direction of the education's development can be defined if the historical experience of other countries is collected and analyzed attentively, not only precise selection of the most effective schemes of education's development is necessary, but we also need thoughtful adaptation of the chosen models to Russian socio-cultural conditions.

The philosophical bases of the life activity research in the context of social upbringing are studied in the article. To understand the nature and mechanisms of social upbringing, it seems the most important to consider the scope of usage of the life activity term within the concept of social upbringing (A. V. Mudrik). Examination of the current practice of usage of the life activity term leads to three main options: individual life activity, life activity of social groups, the collective life activity of the educational organization. From this, there appears a possibility to draw the following scheme: the essence of social upbringing is the reproduction of individual life activity and the life activity of social groups, and the mechanism of social education is the multi-factor influence of collective life activity of the educational organization.

The author asserts that a genuine liberalism may be only conservative. The paper presents the study of interdependence of the life values of the person and the specificities of behavior in interpersonal relationships. According to B. Ananyev's ideas about the integrity of the ontogeny and the unity and interdependence of all periods of human development, interpersonal communication is one of the key factors of every person's development throughout his/her life. We found out that for the students aged 18-20 the values of maintaining individuality, responsibility and tolerance are interrelated. Some specificities of their behavior among relatives and peers are revealed.  Awareness of one's own value and uniqueness, self-esteem contribute to the acceptance of another person, to the openness to his/her experience and views, as well as to assuming the responsibility in co-operation with others.

The author analyzes the role of advertisement in the health formation in the conditions of information society. The importance of health to the individuals and the society has been demonstrated on the basis of sociological research. Advertisement is viewed as a subject-object interaction aimed to facilitate awareness. There are revealed the contradictions connected with the understanding of the healthy lifestyle as an object of advertisement. Social practices of health control by the individual whose behavior is driven by the health-protective motivation are presented as the most optimal model of the subject-subject interaction.

In the article there are formulated the basic principles of the author's conception of the professional successfulness of modern pedagogue as an educator in the process of advanced training.
