In the article, there are analyzed some aspects of the special education system in Russia. It is shown that there has not been implemented the principle of successive diminishing of the number of students at each successive increase of the educational level. The main specialization in training should be according to the future activitytypes: manager, specialist, or scientist. In fact,these are different directions of education; therefore, it is inexpedient to have joint education for more than two years.
