POSSIBILITIES OF APPLYING A HERMENEUTIC METHOD IN EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract
The article analyzes possibilities to arrange cognitive process from the point of view of hermeneutic methods which are viewed not only as a craft to understand the text, hut general cultural and historic method (Fr Schleiermacher) based on the idea which is able to occur as a reconstruction of the author and the reader prejudices (Wilhelm Dilthey) and as a process of the reader’s getting into the author’s lifeworld (Hans- Georg Gadamer). The paper specifies impossibility to restrict a person in receiving true knowledge by means of cognizer role only. The author draws a conclusion about specific integration of science and education as a result of applying hermeneutic method; that makes new knowledge to be perceived not as extraneous and planted outside but as selfobtained and outworn.
