In the article, the main strategies of the education management in the conditions of globalization are considered. The author reveals the philosophical bases, which underlie two models of management standing against each other according to the follow criterion: recognition/non-recognition of the metaphysical foundations of life. The model of management, being implemented now, is based on the denial of these foundations and leads to unification and degradation of the national education systems. The author proves that the most optimal is the strategy which is guided by the fundamental principles and laws of the Universum, being in accord with which, both the world as a whole and the mankind, in particular, are evolving to more harmonious, advanced levels of life.

The main idea of the articleis to study theoretical and methodological bases of the competitiveness of educational services in higher education. The essential characteristics of such definitions as «the market of educational services», «educational service» are considered; the factors, influencing the competitiveness of educational services, are analyzed. The paper investigates different approaches to the system of evaluation of competitiveness of educational services of the institution of higher education.
