Abstract
The article describes the approach, formed in the course of the reform of education, when the qualifications of the employee is defined as a set of professional competences of the graduate corresponding to a level of education. Modern practice indicates the complexity and variety of the tasks performed during the process of selection of competent specialists. For the purpose of a proper and objective decision making and formalization of selection criteria during the performance of such tasks we suggest using elements of the fuzzy set theory.
