Abstract
An analysis of the features of pedagogical monitoring in the higher education institution is carried out in the article. The principles, contents, structure and role of pedagogical monitoring in the military higher education institution are examined. It is proposed to improve the quality of education in the military higher education institution by means of the rating system of education. The aim of the article is an analysis of the features of the pedagogical monitoring in the higher education institution, in particular, its essence, structures and contents. In the research, monitoring is presented as a many-sided and all-round observation of the studied pedagogical process that enables not only to support the mode of innovative activity and to realize its program and aim but also to manage learning.
