Abstract
The article is devoted to the peculiarities and development of the Russian education, associated with inversion – periodic change of the conservative and liberal pedagogical paradigms. The purpose of the article is to prove the need to overcome the «catching-up» type of development of the domestic education, historically due to the inversion of the pedagogical paradigms. The authors substantiate the possibility of a harmonious combination of constructive ideas and practices of both paradigms based on national tolerance in education, defining its new quality.
