The paper is devoted to setting up the centre of the radio-technical and electro-technical industries on the basis of industrial enterprises evacuated to Siberia in the beginning of the war. This centre became the largest on the East of the country. The author elaborates on development of the material and technical basis, personnel and technical lines where production of radio stations for tanks, aircrafts, ships and military detachments, as well as radio-stations for the government communication and for managing armies was organized.

The article is prepared on the basis of data that became available for researchers just recently due to the secrecy reasons. The paper outlines the history of setting up and development of the military plant No 635 that is located near Novosibirsk. General tendencies and problems of the industrial development of Siberia during the year of the war have been also addressed in the article.
