Abstract
The article presents the results of sociological research (2011), regarding the inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations in the environment of the adult and young generations in Novosibirsk. A special attention in the article is paid to the problem of introducing the «Foundations of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics» academic subject into the school education,to the attitude towards it of the young people, adults and teachers.
