Abstract
The anthropological and discursive dominants of the education modernization are distinguished. The «discourse», «anthropological discourse», «discourse in pedagogy», «anthropological discourse in pedagogy» terms are considered, while taking into consideration their role in modernization processes. The specificity of modernization of modern Russian education is represented within the framework of anthropological discourse in pedagogy as a reference point for the development of pedagogical theory andpractice.
