Abstract
The article is devoted to studying the philosophical, psychological and pedagogical bases of the notion of “creative activity” and the categories, which are closely connected with this notion such as personality, creativity, activity, upbringing of the creatively active personality, etc. The universal and phenomenal features of this notion are analyzed, and the characteristic of its essence and content is given.
