Abstract
In the article, there are considered the cognitive features of the period of religiousReformation, in the basis of which there lie the changing attitudes towards knowledge and cognition which formnew epistemic communities. The examples are given of the pedagogical programs of both religious and scientifically focused types. The mechanisms of formation of science and education of the Early Modern period are shown.
