Abstract
In the article, there are considered the consequences of socially pernicious shock reforms of the Russian economy in the mid-nineties, which caused critical decline of the living standards of all the segments of population, especially in such unprotected group as the youth. The examples of increasing deviation of young generation in this period are given: the growth of drug addiction, alcoholism and youth crime.
