The author considers the world outlook in the conditions of globalization. The dialogue of the world outlooks is considered as a condition of the safe development of the world civilization. The urgency of rapprochement of the world outlooks of the West and the East in modern conditions is substantiated. In the article, the role of Russia is considered, the twofold nature of whose culture allows it to become some kind of an intermediary between the East and the West in the formation of a uniform civilization al world outlook. The author makes a conclusion that the dialogue of world outlooks in the modern globalized world has become a necessary reality and is one of important conditions of self-preservation of the mankind.
