Abstract
The article is devoted to a brief analysis of the problem of national security in the scientific-educational space. There are considered the threats to the development of educational institutions in the modern globalizing world. The author shows the necessity of conformity of the types (models) of higher education to the historically developed type of sociality and the model of the world. The importance is substantiated of socio-philosophical and philosophical-methodological reflection on the reforms of higher education and its institutions.
