In connection with the transition to the new state educational standards of the higher professional education and the reforms being carried out of the military education, the author, on the basis of the analysis of existing system of officers preparation to the professional pedagogic work, offers a model of preparation of officers-teachers to such work. The offered model is based on the personality of the officer-teacher, his professional pedagogic work and the professional-pedagogical competencies of the officer-teacher of the higher military educational institution of Interior Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
