The author considers and analyzes the all-around development of the person which is impossible without persons mastering the culture of physical training. There are analyzedthe issues of healthy lifestyle of the youth. The author considers the following problem: many students do not clearly understand the purposes and objectives of physical education. There are revealed the reasons preventing students going in for sport and followinga healthy way of life. This complicates the process of their adaptation to the specific forms of training in the higher education institution. Therefore, the question is very topical of how to teach higher education students to use regularly various methods and forms of physical training in everyday life.
