Abstract
In the research the phenomenon of tolerance is considered in the context of typological approach in the interrelation with the styles of thinking of A. Harrison's and R. Bramson's typology and the characteristics of psychological types according to the theory of К. Jung. We have revealed significant interrelations of tolerance with the typological characteristics of the person in the higher education students. Also in the work there have been obtained the results testifying to the distinctive features of cognitive, value-motivational and behavioral spheres of tolerant students in each of the investigated typological groups.
