Geomorphological Mapping of Ecosystems of the Mouth of the Chuya River on the Basis of GIS Technologies

Abstract
On the basis of GIS technologies, a large-scale geomorphological map is drawn up. Characteristics of the region relief are given, 16 morphological complexes of mesorelief are distinguished on the basis of decoding high resolution space photographs, aerial photographs and field observations and literature sources. As a result of a complex analysis, eight stages of development of the territory relief are distinguished. Thanks to the GIS possibilities, the results of the analysis are presented in digital form. Perspectives of use of GIS technologies in geo-morphological studies are considered.
