Abstract
The article explores the system of somatic training of professional and applied physical qualities of cadets of military higher education institution. The author’s opinion is the system includes the purpose, functions, components and diagnostic tools. The system is aimed at development of professional and applied physical skills by means of cadets’ somatic training. The paper highlights internal and external factors influencing development of professional and applied physical qualities of cadets of military higher education institution. Functioning of each component of system of somatic education is registered in educational and educational process of Military Institute of Internal Troops named after Colonel I.K. Iakovlev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
