Abstract
The goal of the research is to formulate the preconditions of formation and development of autonomy as a personal disposition. The author shows that, among the factors of personal register, the leading part in the autonomy initiation are played by reflexivity, self-determination, strong-willed self-control, responsibility, professional identity, which, in turn, create a social-psychological space of trust and tolerance. There are presented the results of a social-psychological study confirming significant predictors for the development of personal autonomy
