Oxidation of iron in the underground low mineralized underground cold water of the Tyumen North by ecologically safe oxidizing agent - hydrogen peroxide - is investigated. The dependences of the residual iron content on the concentration and specific dose of the oxidizer for the process performed in a closed volume and with the sand filter loaded are obtained. The results of the investigation were used in designing and building the station of underground water conditioning with a productivity of 50 thousand m³/day in Novy Urengoy.
