Abstract
The structure of a geological section used for drilling degassing wells in coal deposits is given. The advantages of the impact-rotational drilling method are shown. The procedure of core sampling using down-the-hole pneumatic hammer is presented. Annular pneumatic hammer with a central sludge transport is described. Down-the-hole pneumatic hammer of a solid face with an adapter redistributing the movement of drilling mud from the annular space to the central pipe of a double drilling string is considered.
