Abstract
The possibility of using combined safety shelters to prevent the distribution of rock fragments during blasting in constrained conditions near urban terrain is shown. New schemes and designs of shelters made of dump truck tires connected by rope and chain slings were developed, as well as fencing mesh and mats made of conveyor belts, which ensure blasting safety preventing the rock pieces from flying apart and partially reduce the effect of an air shock wave.
