Abstract
The results of numerical simulation of heat exchange between a train and tunnel air in the cold season are presented for the tunnels operated in severely continental climate of Siberia and the Far East. The simulation was carried out in an unsteady plane axisymmetric formulation. The dependences for the heat balance components of transport tunnels on the outdoor temperature and portal equipment operating modes are obtained.
