Abstract
This paper provides a comparative analysis of technological characteristics of the methods of puncture and pile pushing and their combination in horizontal hole-making in soil mass. The results of experimental studies of the interaction between the working tools and soil massive for these methods are given. The combined method potential for expanding the technological capabilities of boreholes construction is substantiated.
