Abstract
Authors considered results of development of a tourist industry of the Yaroslavl region, feature of regional government in the field is use of cluster approach. An attempt of simultaneous development of all types of tourism is made. However not always the taken measures resulted in desirable results. Basic reasons of insufficient development of separate types of tourism are given in article. The directions the most perspective for increase in amount of services of this sphere are offered.
