Abstract
X-ray crystallography has been applied to determine crystal and molecular structures of a co-crystal of malonic acid with acetamide. The crystal symmetry is monoclinic, P 21/ c space group, a = 5.042(1) Å, b = 14.022(5) Å, c = 10.593(3) Å, b = 100.61(7)°, V = 736.1(4) Å3, Z = 4, d calc = 1.503 g/cm3, F (000) = 344.
