Abstract
The article considers conceptual approaches to designing of model of management of social adaptation of senior citizens of rural settlements of Novosibirsk region. It is justified that management of social adaptation of senior citizens must be based on new theoretical approaches in social work, where increasing the capabilities of senior citizens is the key one. The developed model of management of social adaptation of senior citizens, which represents interdependent models, is described. Significant attention is given to analysis of such activity areas of the social and regulatory module as medical service, public services, housing improvement, employment. Finally, the author comes to the conclusion that social services of Novosibirsk region can make ageing process of population a significant factor of social development by paying constructive attention to issues of senior citizens of rural settlements.
