Abstract
The article analyzes the comparativistics of the most influential opposition union of Russian intellectuals of the 19th century – the “Russian sociological school”. The comparativistics included diachronic and synchronous aspect: comparison of development stages of domestic and Western European social organism and comparison of basic characteristics between Russia and Western Europe. It is demonstrated that the comparativistics was based on principles of radical socialism and antietatism that gradually lost the initiative to principle of liberalism.
