In the article the problems of modern social policy in the education system and the need for their solution are described. In this regard, there is a need of modernization of education, in particular, through creation of social partnership that will allow the educational establishments not only to survive but also to develop in the modern market of educational services according to the expectations of the society and the state. Social partnership is considered as a mechanism of interaction of the state, public organizations, business, establishments of education, civil society, which reveals the general directions of interaction for the development of education.
