Abstract
In the article there are revealed the specificities of developing professional competence of the subjects of life-long education in the conditions of acmeological environment. The acmeological environment is described as the combination of external and internal conditions appearing and created under the influence of mega-, macro- and micro-factors, providing the development of professional competence of the subjects of life-long education. The acmeological environment contributes into the ability of the subjects of life-long education to realize and overcome the factors hindering the development of professional competence.
