Abstract
The author examines the connections between political system and the content of education policy for manager training. The reasons of the absence of political science disciplines in the Soviet education system are named. The appearance of political science within educational process in the 1990s is explained. The main reasons of reduction of political education are revealed in connection with Russia's joining the Bologna process and the corresponding educational reform. The basic ways for improvement of manager training in modern conditions, based on the accumulated experience and political science, are proposed.
