Abstract
The author analyzes the ideological conception of a new international movement of alternative globalism, whose origination was connected with critical evaluation by a part of the society of the outcomes and consequences of the liberal globalization. In the article, there are distinguished the periods of formation of the world outlook of the alternative globalism movement; there are identified its basic programmatic principles both in their negative (against what) and positive (for what) aspects. This analysis has allowed the author to reveal the ideological non-uniformity of alternative globalism and to mark out its main currents, and also to determine the essence of the movement as a leftist political and social flow.
