Abstract
The article is devoted to realization of the socio-integrative function of education in the conditions of sharp social stratification of students. Revealing the contradictions in the realization of the socio-integrative function of education in modern mass school, the author gives some details of a pilot study of the specificity of the cultural capital of the students from different social strata, indicating the socio-cultural dissonance in the school, and formulates proposals for the optimization of pedagogical interaction in the conditions of sharp social stratification of students.
