Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider the essence of the problem methodology as one of the ways of innovative organization of the educational process. The characteristics of the problem methodology are analyzed. It is specified that the problem methodology focus the person on the work in the situation of uncertainty which trains him/her self-reliance, creativity and independence. Such skills are necessary for the modern expert who should work in the conditions of modernization of the Russian society, directed on the formation of innovational vector of development. The author describes the specific features of application of the problem methodology in education, such as auxiliary character of the problem methodology and the necessity of its application together with the traditional methodology of organization of the educational process.
