Abstract
The innovative approaches to education in conditions of a new formed society аre considered. The role of information -communication technologies in modern educational process is determined. The complex analysis of a place and role of system of education in a modern society will be carried out. The prospects of development of system of education for successful formation of the socially adaptive person capable to the further intensive self-development, development and creation of new knowledge are considered. The conclusion is offered that the system of education with new social functions can become a basis of a formed society of knowledge.
