Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show the correlation of the principles of partialness and holism and the necessity of a final holistic approach in education, knowledge, and practice. The problems of knowledge in philosophy of education are described. The specificity of partial and holistic principles in modern education, knowledge, and practice is showed.  Partialness is presently common but leads to deconstruction of society, individual, and the balance between society and nature. Preservation of the potential of viable knowledge, integrity of human being, and the society-nature balance is possible only on the basis of holistic principle and the complex approaches to the solution of these problems. The author's contribution is substantiation of the heuristic character and practicality of the holistic principle in education and the study of knowledge.
