Abstract
The aim of publication is to study the history of ornamented items production in the 1920s-1930s at the Zlatoust factory. Problems of industrial culture are analyzed on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach which allows studying the history of Zlatoust artistic metal production - a special sphere of the Urals metallurgical production, an original phenomenon, which appeared as an alloy of science, production process, craft and art. Being the artifact of industrial heritage it also belongs to the field of art. The research is based on facts and events supported with documentary witnesses and archival sources, which were published for the first time.
