Abstract
This article examines trends and developmental characteristics of key demographic processes in the BRICS member countries, particularly the total fertility rate. It also examines issues related to these countries’ contribution to global demographic processes, including population change, shifts in reproduction patterns, and other factors. Attention is paid to current trends shaping the global demographic situation.
