Abstract
Based on the results of mine geophysical surveys of coal pillars using the ANGEL-M system with the function of electrometric mine equipment and numerical modeling of the stress-strain state of a rock mass, an empirical dependence of the relative intensity and vertical stresses in pillars was obtained when mining thick coal seams. Design solutions for the prevention of geodynamic phenomena are developed using the stress index of the rock mass.
