Abstract
Design features and operating principles of ball cavity generators in the rock mass through boreholes are considered. A technical solution to the formation of ball cavities is proposed and the advantage of its use for estimating the stress state of the rock mass by hydraulic fracturing method is shown in comparison with other methods
