Abstract
The article considers features of historical process from a perspective of sociosynergetics with regard to categories of probability and chance. Special attention is given to factors of stability and instability in historical development. The role of factor of temporality in transformations of social development is shown. Alternative of historical development and specifics of its assessment are demonstrated. Consideration of probability and chance from position of complex social systems assumes correlation between parts of the complex system that is not only self-organized but self-developed as well.
