Abstract
The question is considered of organizing the educational activity in the schools of the North, taking into account the climatic, socio-cultural conditions and the traditional kind of economic management. The results are presented of monitoring the organization of educational activities in the educational institutions in the places of traditional residence and economic activities of the indigenous peoples of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). As a result, the authors have developed a teaching-methodical set of traditional knowledge for the pupils of lower grades taking into account the Federal State Educational Standards.
