Abstract
The authors analyze the backbone factors in constructing a new educational model of the higher education institution. The paper investigates the specifics of electronic educational space, its role as a consolidating tool of the educational system. On the example of constructing of a management system for e-learning, it is shown how the requirements of the modern educational model are implemented in practice; the perspective directions of the further development of this model are indicated.
