Abstract
The article is devoted to working out a theoretical basis of mathematical modeling of the competence approach in professional education on the basis of the ideas of constructivist pedagogy in terms of modern educational paradigm. The content of the work is determined by investigating three conceptual components, which are the system principles of the competence approach, the conception of mathematic model, and the mathematic model of the competence approach. The mathematic model is developed on the principles of fuzzy logic.
