Abstract
The author analyzes the structural organization of consciousness, which represents a complete system, consisting of different elements, regularly related to one another. In the article, there are studied the real and symbol layers of consciousness, genetically preceded by the reflective one. It is reasoned that a source of real characteristics of consciousness is the subject and social action. As a whole, it is proved that the internal reflexive resources of consciousness are realized by means of emotions, memory, thinking, attention, will, imagination and its other structural components components. The conscious human being realizes the objective significance of his/her goals and motives; he/she is also capable of self-control on the basis of moral norms developed by the society.
