Abstract
The paper deals with some philosophical and methodological aspects of Russian student youth’ social consciousness. The analysis of theoretical studies and empirical data shows that the destructive social processes tend to increase contradictions in the social consciousness of the Russians. The search for effective means of the higher education’s involvement in building up social consciousness and behavior leads the author to the conclusion that many of the existing problems can be solved from the standpoint of the management sociology.
