Abstract
The author analyzes the concept of the human body phenomenon and its transformation in the history of philosophy, and explores a specific virtual corporality in its relation to the formation of the modern person. The article points out to the necessity of changes in the educational process, taking into account the emergence of new types of corporality (medial, virtual body), thinking (‘clip mentality’), and new communities based on the virtual space. Here the author investigates the characteristics of corporality, which are being formed in the modern context of advanced technologies. The author points out to a fundamental difference in the perception of the human body in the classical philosophy and in the perception of corporality of the user in the contemporary discourse; this requires new approaches in solving problems, associated with the development and formation of the individual.
