Abstract
We study the interaction of education and the quality of life, analyze the challenges facing modern education as one of the mechanisms to ensure a decent life quality. It is proved that in the contemporary socio-cultural situation of the Russian society only a culture-centeredness of education in general and of social education in particular is a condition of formation of a socially active individual, as well as the basis of fundamentalization and technologization of training for all the sectors of the society, ensuring social and family well-being.
